Littleholm Parktown

This house was designed by Percival Hill Mitchelson in 1904 for Stanley Archibald Markham Pritchard who joined the Cape Mounted Rifles in 1892 and was transferred to Basutoland Mounted Police in 1898. He came to Johannesburg in 1901 to work in what was then called the Native Affairs Department. In the First World War Colonel Pritchard commanded the SA Native Labour Corps in France. (Blue plaque)
