Stuttafords Building Johannesburg

From the late 1890s until the 1970s tens of thousands of people from all over the region and country were drawn to Johannesburg to shop at the iconic stores on Eloff and Pritchard Streets. Stuttafords - in its many forms - was one of the major attractions. The Stuttafords Building is a significant part of Johannesburg's Old Retail District. The building has been a landmark since its construction in 1927-1928.
