Little Church in the Pines Sandown

The Little Church in the Pines is the oldest building in Sandton still in its original state. The church opened in 1924, half a century before Sandton began its trajectory to become the 'Richest Square Mile in Africa'. It is a heritage gem and its significance will only grow as the skyscrapers of Sandton rise around it. A few hundred metres from the Gautrain station, this blue plaque site is sure to become a major tourist attraction.
